2- The American Workforce

The American workforce is experiencing a generational dynamic where we have five generations actively working today (Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation-X, Millennials, and Generation-Z).Investing in the new hires through effective onboarding programs ensures employees meet their potential, thereby contributing to employer-employee success. It is essential for the organizations to be ready in meeting the demands of the new hire, and designing a well-structured onboarding program starting with understanding the new hires’ expectations,
-we will focus on the importance of new employee orientation/onboarding for Generation-Z (also referred to as Gen-Z or iGen).

Your goal is to create or fine-tune an onboarding program that meets the needs of Generation Z.

Considerations for your plan:

Identify the rewards and challenges of managing a workforce composed of workers from different generations?
First-day experience (outline what the first day will look like).
For example, please be thinking about who will be involved and how will information be shared?
First-week experience (outline what the first week will look like).
After the first day, what is the onboarding plan for the remainder of the week?
Identify your plan after the initial orientation/onboarding process.
