Mathematics Requirement- Application of formulas discussed in class and specific calculations using those formulas. Formulas must be related to your research topic so please use discretion when deciding which formulas to use.

Data Analysis Requirement- Downloading data from FRED or some other database and importing to Excel.

Must demonstrate knowledge of economic theory as it relates to macroeconomics. The written section must include a minimum of 1,500 words. Themes that could be discussed: AD/AS, The Federal Reserve, The MPC & the Keynesian Multiplier, Interest Rates, Long-Run Economic Growth, Money Growth & Inflation, Unemployment, Okun’s Law, the Phillips Curve etc.
