How has post-industrial leadership changed the effectiveness of today’s military?
my thoughts on this center around the traditional authoritarian leadership style the military has used for centuries ( instant obedience to orders without question). So a little history as to why it has been this way ads to the context of change. For example, throughout history, major battles have been lost with the loss of a key leader. It has only been in the last couple of decades that the military (well the US military anyway) has there been a paradigm shift to small unit leadership with more post-industrial leadership. Given the nature of war I can see the practicality of both sides.
