The purpose of a stakeholder assessment is to analyze how effectively a company addresses the needs of its major stakeholders. Specifically, the assignment asks, ‘How well does the corporation address the
interests of its five primary stakeholders? These are the largest public corporations in America, so there is a lot of information out there
Shareholders: How Is the company treating its shareholders or owners? Most companies will have a dedicated site on its webpage often called something like “Investor Relations.” in which it contains financial information including financial statements and often there’s a record of stock performance. How has the stock performed? Have they paid dividends? How has it compared to other stocks, such as those in the same industry or compared to indices such as the NYSE or Standard and Poor’s?
