The Case Assignment for this course will be a 5-8 page essay (excluding cover page and references). You should use a minimum of 3-4 sources in your Case
Assignment.
Scenario: You are the director of the health education division for your county department of public health. Funding has recently become available for you to
hire a new health educator to work in your department. You created a detailed description of the job duties for the job posting and minimum requirements for
the job. You have decided to include in the job posting “CHES certification required.” Some of your co-workers disagreed with your decision to require a CHES
certification and feel it is limiting the applicant pool. Write a paper arguing for your decision to hire only a CHES certified applicant. Use the past four week’s
readings to support your argument. You may also use other sources that were not required in the past weeks’ readings.
