Examine what are considered to be considered in the scholarly sources/literature as best practice in conducting information technology (IT) project evaluation and project closure. Describe one model used to evaluate an IT project. Identify the meaning and relevance of “lessons learned” from project evaluation and the types of questions the nurse informatics specialist might use to gather information on lessons learned. Discuss the steps and process used to formally “close out” an IT project and why a formal close out is necessary to an IT project.
