You are tasked to design a wastewater treatment facility for a food processing plant. The main objective of the wastewater treatment facility is to remove organic material. The daily average water usage of the plant is 2000 m3/d. The water usage fluctuated during the day, with peak water usage reached 4000 m3/d. The treated wastewater will be discharged to the municipal sewer system. The surface elevation of the plant and invert elevation of the sewer line is at 0.0 m and – 1.5 m respectively.
