Final Report: Your report will consist of a discussion of the physics behind a particular application to medical imaging or medical technology. Possible topics
may include, but are not limited to. Computers in Medical Imaging, X-ray production, Screen-film radiography, Film processing, Mammography, Fluoroscopy,
Digital Radiography, Computed Tomography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), Ultrasound, Interactions of Ultrasound with
Matter, Transducers, Doppler Ultrasound, Ultrasound Image Quality and Artifacts, Radiation Detection and Measurement, Nuclear Imaging-The Scintillation
Camera, Nuclear Imaging-Emission Tomography, Radiation Protection, Radiation Biology
Some guidelines for the final report:
1. Please choose a topic from those listed.
2. You should include an introduction, main body of the report and a summary.
3. In the report you should try to point out some of the physics topics and relate it to the chosen topic.
4. The report should have length of no less than 1500 words.
5. You should include at least two references, one of which cannot be wikipedia.
6. You may include figures, but it is not necessary and they do not count toward the total word count.
